Welcome

We are the Church of the Holy Family. As followers of Jesus within the Anglican tradition, we seek to be a church that continues in the apostles’ teaching and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in the prayers. We do this, first and foremost, by gathering together each week to celebrate the Holy Eucharist—the church’s act of “Great Thanksgiving,” where we hear the Word of God through scripture, sermon, and songs, and receive the Holy Communion of the body and blood of our Lord. We are also a baptizing community, and frequently welcome adults and infants into Christ’s Church through the sacrament of Holy Baptism.

Our life together as a church begins with our worship, but it does not end there. We are a church of potluck dinners and Bible studies, of youth groups and mission trips, of pastoral care ministries and 20s/30s meetups. Simply put, we enjoy spending time together and serving Christ alongside one another. We strive for discipleship, for a holiness of purpose, prayerful intentionality, and to be a community that really matters and means something.

We are a member of The Episcopal Church and are located in the Diocese of North Carolina. As Episcopalians, we are also members of the Worldwide Anglican Communion. Our worship is grounded in our tradition’s “prayer book,” The Book of Common Prayer (1979).

This website is, of course, only a tiny snapshot of who we are. If you would like to know more about who we are and what we are like, then plan to visit us on Sunday, the Lord’s Day. We look forward to meeting you.
